The three main factors that affect pullout capacity are : – 
• The embedment depth of the anchor. 
• The compressive strength (f’c) of the concrete at time of lift. 
• The proximity of the anchor to free edges or other anchors. 
The Standard Length Foot Anchors in each load group have been designed to provide the full S.W.L. of the clutch under  
most conditions: 
• Foot anchors should not be used where concrete strength is <10N/mm² 
• Edge distances less than 3 x anchor length can reduce pullout load. 
• Anchor spacing less than 6 x anchor length can reduce pullout load.
